When I saw Titanic at The Redondo Center for the Performing Arts, I had never heard of Kevin Earley. When he was on stage singing the stoker's song, "Barret's Song," I was thoroughly impressed. His booming voice filled the theater as each audience member was transfixed. I only wished I had a recording of it. It was so powerful and more appealing than the Broadway version. He also sang "The Proposal," which is one of my favorite songs from the show. Again, I was amazed. I knew from that night on I would try to see any production he was in. I was able to catch him in Carousel, 1776 , and Sideshow. I am so thankful that he plays locally. I am looking so forward to seeing him in "Follies" in June.
